Maharashtra’s Boy’s win against Punjab & Chattisgarh while the Girl’s defeat Kerala

Una (H.P) 29th Nov – The 31st Sub Junior National Kho Kho Championship is scheduled from 27th November to 1st December at Indira Stadium, Una, Himachal Pradesh. Maharashtra’s Boy’s won against Punjab and Chattisgarh while the Girl’s defeated Kerala.

Maharashtra’s Boy’s defeated Panjab by 11 points & an inning (18-07). Maharashtra’s Ashish Gautam (3.40 min. defended), Atharva Patil (3.00 min defended & 3 wickets), Jitendra Wasave (2.40 min. Defend & 3 wickets) & Sotya Walvi scored 4 wickets. Sunny and Gurvinder from Punjab put in their best efforts for the team. Maharashtra’s Boy’s also defeated Chhattisgarh by 10 points & an inning (17-07).

Maharashtra Girls overpowered Kerala with a 25-05 win. Ankita Deokar took 8 wickets and defended for 2 minutes while Dhanashree Kare took 5 wickets. Dhanashree Kank defended for 3.30 and also chased down 1wicket. From kerala S. Harshada played well.

Other boy’s matches results were as follows

Kolhapur vs Vidarbha – 14-13; UP vs Tamilnadu – 16-08; Telangana vs Jharkhand – 17-15; Karnataka vs Bihar – 29-04.

In the girl’s section following matches were played in the morning session

Karnataka vs West Bengal – 9-6; AP vs Jharkhand – 20-19
